Today, on March 8, the Feminist march for women’s rights and against gender violence is taking place in the capital of Ukraine on Sofievskaya square. The correspondent of Informator.media reports from the scene.

It’s noted, that march is held under the slogan ‘NO violence of all formats – from maternity hospitals to military enlistment offices!’. The participants brought posters with them: ‘NO decommunization of women’s rights in Ukraine!’.

Also, it’s reported that there were tries to intimidate march participants, according to posts of meeting organizers in the social media. They confirm that it was done to cancel march.

Meanwhile, participants didn’t afraid of threats and decided to go on rally. Though the incident happened during the procession.

Four malefactors attacked march participants, pouring paint and brilliant green on them. Nobody got injured. National police staff, guarding order in the center of the city, denied attackers. Now the column is continuing its movement.
