SBU: NGCA passports are the ‘bait’ for information operations

Fake ‘LPR’, ‘DPR’ ‘passports’ have no any power or meaning. Kremlin uses them only for information operations. Jury Tandit, SBU head’s advisor has claimed about it in the broadcasting to ‘112 Ukraine’ TV-channel.

‘Fake ‘documents’, which are illegally transported to Ukrainian inhabitants, living on the temporary occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, have no any power or meaning. Some statements of Russian authority about these documents have no any power, except, they’re used in information operations’, he emphasized and promised the reaction on such actions from the side of Department and MFA of Ukraine.

Tandit assured that Service will unequivocally react on such statements.

‘In this case it’s the one of facts that Russia wants to go out from Minsk agreements, to refuse from some pressure from the side of international organizations. We react every time in such situations and will act within the framework of the law. There also will be the reaction of MFA, including SBU, which will assess such actions’, he said.

We would remind that Russia didn’t provide exemptions to ‘LPR’ and ‘DPR’ passports
