Mass checks of pharmacies in ‘DPR’ are holding in ‘republic’ more than a month. People come inside (often without introducing themselves or presenting any identification, without making notes in the audit journal) and begin to ‘dig’.
Horlivka journalist Nikita Sinitsyn, forcedly left native city, because of repressions, made Facebook post:
‘They’re looking for bags very diligently, delving into all the details – from documents to medicine in the refrigerator. Few pharmacies didn’t pass three checks yet.
According to check results, pharmacies are often being closed before the decision about their fate even in case of minimal violations detection. Simultaneously large fines are imposed on the owner’.
The biggest part of such checked is the frequent occurrence in Horlivka and Khartsyzsk.
There is a quandary in entrepreneur’s environ. Pharmacy business is not so profitable now, as it was early, the purchasing power of the population dropped.
‘Maybe they want to fill up the budget or maybe somebody decided to bring under complete control all pharmacies. Now those, who can allow themselves to close do it, while storm calms. Somebody is continuing to work, hoping that passed by. It’s a shame, but this situation has been happening for a month, but media doesn’t write about it, because we’re not taxi drivers. But medicine is not a taxi – someone can’t live without it’, one of the pharmacy entrepreneurs recognized.
