Donetsk region law enforcers have reported that from the beginning of this year 347 cottages and 137 flats in multi-store buildings were damaged by fighters shellings. 5 locals died and 18 got injured from bullets and splinters of mines and shells.

The head of Avdiivka police department Andrei Epur, commenting recent shelling from ‘Grad’, under which old part of the city had got (it suffers more from shellings), noted: ‘Fighters tried to open fire exactly at that time, when people had a rest, were at home or walked on the street. Nobody was wounded because of wonder! Police staff has documented the circumstances of shelling. The Criminal proceeding on art. 258 ‘Terrorist act’ of CCU was opened. Policemen are serving 24/7, providing K’s peace and provide help to every needed’.
