Military sappers have defused 1 485 of mine and explosive devices on March in Donetsk region. The press-service of the Ministry of Defense reports about it, noting that military specialists have explored an area of more than 14.5 hectares for last month.
Totally, beginning from 2017, according to the Ministry of Defense data, sappers defused up to 2.4 thousands of unexploded ammunition on the Controlled by Government Areas of Donetsk region of Ukraine. More than 22 hectares were cleaned from explosive objects.
Disposal of ammunition and mine-explosive items in almost daily mode takes place at a special training ground.
‘Deadly finds, which transportation to defuse is dangerous, are being liquidating on the scene in compliance with all necessary safety measures’, press-service told.
Military assured that cleanings of Donetsk areas will continue in the future.
