Rescue rangers have cleaned up from explosive objects areas of Balakleya and 9 settlements of Kharkiv region, got in Emergency zone after sabotage on one of the biggest ammunition depot in Ukraine. There were explosions and scaled fires began. State Emergency Service reports.

‘During the cleaning of the areas around Balakleya from explosive objects by Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service, 10 kilometer pollution zone was reduced to 1 kilometer’, the service reported.

Fires in Balakleya and located near villages weren’t fixed, rescue rangers are continuing their work: ‘727 people and 133 machinery units are acted in the liquidation of the consequences of an emergency, including from SES 163 people and 53 machinery units and 20 Pyrotechnic units’.
