Toretsk policemen uncovered a murder, committed at a local cemetery. The body of a local woman was found out by a pedestrian on April 24 and he called the police. Investigators examined the corpse and found wounds on the head. The fact was qualified as murder.

Police explored area near to detect eyewitnesses of an accident, held a number of investigative measures, which brought the result and allow to detain the suspect.

He is a 17-year-old local resident. Together with his victim they were collecting food, which visitors left in time of memorial days. The couple began to quarrel, because they divide the ‘booty’. First there was verbal abuse, and when the patience of the attacker burst, he grabbed a wooden cross (it was lying in a dump) and inflicted several blows on the head of the ‘rival’. Injuries proved to be incompatible with life.

Now material evidence was confiscated and attached to the materials of criminal proceedings opened under Part 1, Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (premeditated murder). The sanction of the article provides for up to 15 years of imprisonment.
