Armed people on April 24, 2017 have taken the electric substation ‘Mikhailovka’, located on NGCA. The staff of National Power Company (NPC) ‘Ukrenergo’ works there. Invaders made people to turn off two power lines from Schastie thermal power station on ‘Jubileiny’ and ‘Lisichansk’ substations, located on controlled by Ukraine territory. Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and IDP has reported about it.

It was noted that in connection with customers of so-called ‘LPR’ stopped to pay for electricity the big debt for supply of it appeared.

‘In such conditions Ukraine forced to stop power supply to Non Government Controlled Areas and it warned about it earlier, providing an opportunity to carry out necessary preparatory activities’, tells the message of a Ministry.
