Ex-member of Party of Regions and ex-head of Kyiv City State Administration Vladimir Makeenko has become the only owner of ‘Tonis’ TV-channel.

Earlier he had only 9.5% of ‘Tonis’. According to the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and Individuals Makeenko introduced in the statutory fund 16.7 million UAH (~$630 000) and became the sole owner of LLC ‘Telekanal” Tonys’.

‘Zerkalo nedeli’ reported that TV-channel claimed about new stage of its development. Information and analytical broadcasting will be the main direction. Eugeny Kiselev and Matvey Ganapolsky were invited on the channel.

We note that earlier the head of the National Council for Television and Radio Broadcasting Jury Artemenko has reported that General prosecutor’s office has detected during the investigation that Aleksander Yanukovich indirectly owns the television channels ‘Tonis’, ‘Business’, ‘Good’ and ‘Weather’.
