Abroskin: Not enough policemen in frontline Mariinka

There are not enough staff in the police department of frontline Mariinka of Donetsk region. Deputy Head of the National Police, Chief of Police of Donetsk region Vyacheslav Abroskin made a post about it on his Facebook page.

‘Speaking about personnel of unit, there are desirous to serve on frontline area. Now the shortage of staff is 22 people. It’s most tangible in the Investigation Unit’, Abroskin noted.

The Head of the National Police added that up to 40 calls arrive at the police on average during the day, only 10% of them have signs of criminal offenses. The time of arrival to the scene varies from 5-7 minutes to half an hour, because some calls have to travel to a distance of 65 km.

General Abroskin added that police department building was destroyed by fighters.

‘We will advise with the specialists about possible recovering of this damaged accommodation. In case of the positive answer, we surely restore it’, Abroskin noted.
