The governor of Donetsk region Pavel Jebrivsky remembered yesterday about the anniversary of the opening of a new terminal of Donetsk International Airport, destroyed by fighters.
‘5 years ago, on May 14, 2012, a new 7-floor terminal was opened in the International Airport ‘Donetsk’ named by Sergei Prokofiev. The throughput of terminal was 3100 passengers in an hour. On May 26, 2014, airport stopped its work, because of insurgents’ attacks on it. Today, the terminal and other airport constructions were absolutely destroyed by Russian occupants. Donetsk Airport is the clear example of the impact of ‘Russian Spring’ and ‘Russian World’ on our Ukrainian land’, the head of the Regional State Administration made a Facebook post.
