On May 20 and 21 rescue rangers of Special Purpose Unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Donetsk region carried out work on the dismantling of emergency structures of an apartment building, which suffered during artillery shelling of frontline Avdiivka.

High-rise building on Molodezhnaya street 17, has become a target for fighters not once. Constructions don’t withstand the load and are destroyed, and some of them threaten the life and health of people.

Rescue rangers dismantled the rubble of emergency brick masonry of the bearing walls of a five-story apartment house and prepared a site for the installation of supports and fixing the slab of the ceiling by installing three pillars-supports.

On May 21 cut of all emergency structures was held and support racks for slabs and bolts for their support were made.

6 people from personnel of the Main Directorate and 1 unit of equipment were acted in the process, the website of rescue rangers of Donetsk region reported.
