The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine introduced the post of Governmental Gender policy commissioner. Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klimpush-Tsintsadze has written about it at her Facebook page.

‘Congratulations to everyone! We have already accepted the decree about introducing of Governmental Gender policy commissioner. We have a lot of plans with ministries as well as our international partners and public organizations. That’s why – let’s do it!’, Klimpush-Tsintsadze wrote.

Vice-Premier added that commissioner will be responsible for the coordination of Gender policy of the state bodies.

The corresponding staff unit will be allocated through redistribution within the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers.
