Next week the bill about finishing the ATO and new use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be given on the consideration in Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. The first deputy chairman of the parliamentary faction ‘Narodny front’ (People’s front) Andrei Teteruk has reported about it.

‘It’s being waited that bill, which gives an opportunity to finish the stage of ATO and begin new use of AFU, will be introduced. I can’t disclose details of the bill, let’s wait a week, when it will be served. Then we will comment finally approved text’, Teteruk told.

‘ATO is leaded by our anti-terrorist center according to according to the norms of the law on combating terrorism and headed by representatives of the Security Service. Today we have absolutely another goals and threatens, which can’t be solved in ATO format. Possibilities of use of our Armed Forces will be expanded in this context. An operative HQ will include all our military units and also our military-civilian administrations will be integrated here to make all actions in warfare zone more clear and consistent’, Teteruk added.

According to his words, now anti-terrorist operation has carried out the main functions assigned to it – stabilized the situation in a part of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, allowed to hold elections in Ukraine. A number of territories was returned with the help of ATO.

‘It’s clear enough that we’re looking for an answer on the hybrid aggression. We must also look for modern, adequate answers how to return our territories, how to cooperate’, MP said.
