Verkhovna Rada speaker Andrii Parubii is predicting that parliament on July 13 can possibly consider the presentation of the General Prosecutor on the removal of parliamentary immunity from 5 MPs. He claimed about it on the press-conference in Kyiv.

‘What depends the removal of the immunity. On time, on regulations, which are providing the process of parliamentary removal, we manage to make this issue on Thursday at the last plenary week. We acted fast enough, because it’s given 20 days to The Regulatory Committee for consideration of all submissions of the General Prosecutor’s Office. During 5 days deputies have been explaining their positions, 20 day for Committee to consider. That’s why on Thursday of the last plenary week we can come to the consideration, but we’re waiting for the Committee decision, because the violation of the procedure can bring to challenging the decision of Verkhovna Rada’, he said.
