Later in the evening on June 29 11-year-old girl, the resident of Mariupol called to the ‘102’ line (the number of police in Ukraine – ed.) and told that right now the father is beating her mother. Frightened kid locked in the bathroom. The PR-Department of the police of Donetsk region has reported about it.
‘An operator heard loud shouts on the background. While girl was talking with operator, a man began to hit her grandma. Otherwise, a girl told, that it’s not a first time, when her father beats them. On a question if he was in a state of intoxication, she replied that he didn’t: ‘Father is not drunk, he never drinks, but he lied to us’. While police troop was arriving, a girl told to operator, that she also has one-year-old sister and two-year-old brother. She confessed that sometimes, when mama goes out, papa beats also little kids, if they do something wrong’, tells the message.
Police staff reported that ‘10 minutes after, when call had been received, police staff was at the scene’. They ‘reassured the offender’, and then the family ‘was taken to the control of law enforcement agencies’.
‘A little bit later at the same day 11-year-old boy, Mariupol resident too, called ‘102’. He told that he was already beaten by another guy. According to the words of frightened child, first, the oldest guy offended him in words, then began to beat violently, threw him over his shoulder. Moreover, a kid told that hooligan hit a girl too. Law enforcements had a preemptive conversation with a bully and told what consequences there might be if to insult others’, tells the message.
It’s noted, that from the beginning of the year ‘more than 1.5 thousands of children applied into ‘102’ call-center of the Unity Analytics Service Center (UASC)’.
