General Prosecutor’s office has initiated the financial check of ‘PrivatBank’. The General Prosecutor has claimed about it in the commentary to journalists, ‘112 Ukraine’ reports.

‘We also ordered an integrated financial audit, which is likely to give rise to suspicion’, he said.

According to Lutsenko’s words, General Prosecutor’s office has opened few months ago a number of criminal cases on different qualifications regarding events in ‘PrivatBank’ in the period of December 2016.

‘At this moment the GPO investigation will concentrate on one of this productions, in which events around the issuance of loans to two structures for several tens of billions of UAH are determined, вespite the fact that these structures were recognized by the National Bank as related to the beneficiaries of PrivatBank. Therefore, they were forbidden to issue loans’, the General Prosecutor noted.

He added that now the staff of PrivatBank, as well as NBU employments, who were responsible for the control for control over the legality of the actions of PrivatBank, especially in December of last year, are being interrogated.
