The National anti-Corruption Bureau is holding searches in the head office of PrivatBank in Dnipro. ‘Ukrainskaya pravda’ reports about it referring on NABU.

‘In response to media inquiries, we inform you that the detectives of the NABU under the procedural leadership of the Specialized anti-corruption prosecutor’s office prosecutors are carrying out investigative actions in the main office of PJSC KB PrivatBank (Dnipro)’ tells the message of NABU.

Facility representatives clarified that these actions are held in the ranks of an investigation of criminal proceedings on the facts of possible abuse of their official position by officials of the National Bank, as well as the embezzlement of Privatbank’s funds in a particularly large amount, made by management and owners of significant participation of the specified banking institution (part 2 of article 364, part 5 of article 91 of the CC of Ukraine), as a result of which the state incurred losses in The amount of additional capitalization of the bank in the amount of 116.8 billion UAH (~$4.47 mln.).
