The Executive Committee of the Popasnaya City Council concluded an agreement with the public organization “ZooControl” (Kharkov), which deals with trapping animals, sterilizing them, vaccinating against rabies and returning to their habitats. The press-service of facility has reported about it.

As it was reported the campaign has started on July 5.

‘Before the beginning of the work cities head Jury Onischenko inspected the special automobile, which has the most modern equipment, where exactly dogs will be sterilized, vaccinated and rehabilitated’, tells the message.

According to city’s council, the animal will have special marker after the sterilization – a clip on the ear. Also, it will have embedded chip in case the clip was lost. After the medical manipulations the animal will be under the supervision of specialists during rehabilitation, after which it will be returned to the same place where it was caught.

It’s reported that ‘ZooControl’ will be working in Popasnaya for two weeks. Sterilization, vaccination and clipping of one hundred homeless dogs is going to be done during this time.
