The representative of Ukraine in the security subgroup of the Tripartite Contact Group (TCG) Eugeniy Marchuk considers that statement of the so-called ‘DPR’ leader Aleksander Zakharchenko about the creation of ‘Malorossiya’ could paralyze negotiations of TCG. He said about it on July 18 in the broadcasting of ‘112 Ukraine’.
‘Tomorrow there will be sessions and here is Zakharchenko statement, it could block negotiation process. Tomorrow, whichever order was, we will begin the discussion from this statement of Zakharchenko. Such appointment means that there is nothing to talk about’, he said.
According to Marchuk words, Russia is going to block Minsk process, but to accuse Ukraine in it.
According to his opinion, an alternative to Minsk or Norman format can exist, but ‘the problem is not in a format, but in who and how can make Russia to withdraw troops from Ukrainian territory’.
We would remind that the Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavel Klimkin and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov have criticized an idea of ‘DPR’ chieftain Aleksander Zakharchenko about the creation of ‘Malorossiya’.
