The military remembered their fallen brothers, and the mother of the deceased soldier Igor Kotsyar Svetlana Nikolaevna addressed the audience: ‘My son laid his life for your freedom, peace and prosperity… People, remember him people and all our soldiers who shed their blood on the Lisichansk land. They gave the most precious thing that they had, that their moms had…’
A motor rally in the city, a march with a military orchestra, a gala concert with the participation of the band ‘Made and Ukraine’ and artists of the musical project from the Dnieper ‘We won’t be broken’, the inspection of military equipment and weapons took place in Lisichansk.
Also, rewarding participants in the liberation of the city, servicemen, members of patriotic organizations, volunteers and the like was made too.
The participants joined the weaving of camouflage nets for fighters on the front line, and the children painted Ukrainian symbols on the asphalt and inscribed the inscriptions ‘Lisichansk is Ukraine!’ and ‘I love Ukraine’.
Deputy Chairman of the Lugansk Regional State Administration Olga Lishik noted that locals are in great debt to the Ukrainian soldiers, stressing that they will do everything to help the military in restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
