The protection of the Deputy Head of Majlis of Crimean Tatar people Akhtem Chjygoz appealed the sentence of the Crimean occupation court and insisted on the cancellation of the verdict. Attorney Nikolay Polozov wrote about it in his Facebook page.

According to his words, two appeals were filed, one of them was made under the dictation of Chiygoz, who considers the verdict a revenge for his political position.

‘My complaint is brief and will be substantially supplemented after acquaintance with the verdict (it’s not written yet, it will be ready only on September 14) and the record of the court sessions. But the complaint of Akhtem Chyigoz was made by me under his dictation. Ahtem-aga wrote the very essence, without all this legal chicanery’, Polozov wrote.

We would remind that on Monday, September 11, the ‘supreme court of annexed Crimea has sentenced the Deputy head of Majlis of the Crimean Tatar people Akhtem Chiygoz to 8 years of imprisonment.
