A preparatory work for gas pipeline laying Ocheretyno-Avdiivka has begun. The head of the Donetsk military-civil administration Pavel Jebrivsky made a post about it in Facebook.
According to his words it will of 14 kilometers length and will go through the territory, controlled by Ukraine. Project costs 58 mln. UAH (~$2.2 mln.). A half will be paid by by Coke plant, a half of the funds will be allocated from the regional budget.
‘Now we deliver tubes there, prepare equipment (partly we rented it from the military, in part – from the contractor). We’re getting a permission now in the State Architectural and Building Inspection (SABI) and contractors report me that it’s needed 40 days to begin to lay pipes for gas could come to Avdiivka’, Jebrivsky wrote.
According to governor’s words the main was in pipe.
‘Just note that we abandoned the cheap Russian and preferred quality, which is provided by domestic manufacturer. But there were also questions – with Donetskoblgaz (DonetskRegionalGas company), which was doing everything for us not to have possibility to buy tube cheaper than 17 mln. UAH (~$645 717). They somehow strangely identified the firm where we have to buy pipes, but we found a manufacturer that by quality, by certificates, meets the requirements of Donetskoblgaz.
Contractor even made tests to take away all quality questions. But this company was stubborn. They refused to work with ‘not their pipe’ and only acting law enforcements we managed to take back technical, design and estimate documentation, which was ordered and paid for by Avdiivka military-civil administration. We have a lot of huge questions to Donetskoblgaz: there is a suspicion that final beneficiary of 60% of company continues to be Kurchenko. There was appropriate appeal in law enforcement agencies on this issue, and it’s being addressed’, Jebrivsky reported.
Governor promised to let out a gas in front line Avdiivka before the cold weather.
