Odessa tragedy: the director of a burned camp, where children died, was detained

The police detained on suspicion of violating the fire safety rules in Odessa the director of the children’s camp “Victoria” (last night the fire that broke out there killed children) Petros Sarkisyan.

Earlier the Ukrainian president’s authorized representative for children’s rights Nickolay Kuleba said that the director of the camp ‘Victoria’ was hospitalized because of heart problems.

According to his information, three kids died in time of fire as well as two more got injured.

Policemen emphasized that data about the death of a third girl is preliminary. Rescue rangers haven’t confirmed yet that her bones were found out at the site of the tragedy.

We would remind that scale fire had happened in the children’s camp ‘Victoria’. Children jumped out from windows to save from fire. It has been reported that there were 42 kids in the camp, two of them died two more got injured and one more girl is being looked for by rescue rangers.

Rescue rangers claimed that new fire alarm system installed in the children’s camp ‘Victoria’ was intentionally brought to a non-working condition.
