The population of Ukraine from the beginning of the year has decreased by 130 000 people. State Statistical Service reports.

During January-June 2017 the population of the country decreased by 128 500 people. Moreover, the number of dead exceeds the number of live births (per 100 deceased – 61 live births, – ed.).

As of July 1, the population of Ukraine was 42 mln. 467 th. of people. This means that for month population decreased by 11 th. of people.
