On October 3, Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine got 288 votes for pension reform. According to bill No. 6614, the increase in payments to at least 1452 UAH ($~53.57) is waiting for pensioners. But the necessary insurance experience will gradually increase to 35 years in 2028.

The faction ‘Block of Peter Poroshenko’ gave 122 votes to the law (out of 138 deputies), ‘People’s Front’ – 75 (out of 81), ‘Opposition block’ – 0 (out of 43), ‘Samopomich’ – 14 (out of 26), ‘Radical Party’- 17 (out of 20), ‘Batkivschyna’ – 0 (out of 20), the ‘Vidrodzhennya’ group – 22 (out of 26), the  ‘The Will of People’ group – 15 (out of 19).

ZN.UA notes that The basis of the pension reform of the government of Vladimir Groisman was the introduction of progressive insurance experience. If at the age of 60 years a person does not have 25 years of official experience, then it will have to wait for a pension at least three years – up to 63. If there is not even 15 years of experience, then you will have to wait five whole years – up to 65. At the same time, the minimum insurance The experience from 2018 to 2028 will be raised every year to 35 years. Not having so many years of insurance experience, it will be impossible to receive a pension.

At the same time generations who will go on pension after 2019 will add nearly 100 000 of financially defenseless citizens, without a penny of income and opportunities for free treatment and social services.  

The level of minimum payments for active pensioners was increased on the eve of the consideration of the document in the second reading.
