The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated money for housing and issuing passports for IDPs

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine have approved the procedure and conditions for granting subventions from the state local budgets to support the victims of the ATO territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

It’s noted that subventions are allocated for housing for the internally displaced persons and issuing biometric passports near the Line of Contact in the centers of administrative services.

According to the information of mass media such decision was accepted on the session of a government on Wednesday, October 4. The Prime-Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman read out this decision among the accepted by the government at the meeting without discussion.

It’s noted that the Ministry for Temporary Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons is the the main administrator of the subvention.

It’s supposed to direct subvention to build, reconstruction and overhaul of the objects of housing stock of communal property for provision to the settlers, including for temporary use; purchase of communal property of housing for temporary use for IDPs.

The subvention is also allowed to be used to purchase equipment and software for issuing domestic and foreign passports with a biometric chip in the administrative services centers that are located in settlements along the demarcation line.
