The President of Ukraine Peter Poroshenko has signed a law No.2167-VIII ‘On creating the necessary conditions for a peaceful settlement of the situation in certain regions of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions’, adopted by Verkhovna Rada on October 6.
The website of a state head reminds that the law The law determines that Ukraine, in its quest to restore territorial integrity, remains committed to a peaceful settlement of the situation in NGCA of Donetsk and Luhansk regions on the basis of the principles and norms of international law and the UN Charter.
Also it’s noted in the law the Ukrainian sovereignty is spreaded on all its territory, which is in the internationally recognized borders, and is integrity and untouchable.
We would remind that the power of Russian Federation critically apprehended the law of Verkhovna Rada in the first reading ‘On the peculiarities of the state policy to ensure the state sovereignty of Ukraine over the temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions’.
