The holiday in honour of the so-called ‘Republic day’ took part in uncontrolled by Ukrainian Government Donetsk on May 11. It’s celebrated in a day of illegal ‘referendum of May 11, 2014’. Locals reported in the social media about how really the preparing to event look like.  

In particular, Donetsk, Horlovka, Makeevka and Yenakievo inhabitants (NGCA of Donbass – ed.) write in the web that ‘parade’ and a ‘festive concert’ participants were brought to Donetsk on an orderly basis.

It’s noted that orders for ‘budget workers’ were coming to the enterprises in the captured by insurgents cities and there was the appointment how many people from facility must be directed in Donetsk.

Donetsk outskirts residents in organized groups also were brought to the city.  

Social media users write that nearly ‘three hundreds of buses’ started their movement to Donetsk from Horlovka and Makeevka. They were full of ‘volunteer’ participants of an ‘action’ in honour of the ‘Republic Day’ in Donetsk.

Otherwise, it’s reported that those, who refused to take part in ‘parade’ and to present at the concert, on which were the ‘DPR’ chieftain Aleksander Zakharchenko and ‘first persons’ of the ‘republic’, will be punished at their working places.

‘I refused to go, because of a sickness. Yes, I lied. My son and husband supported me and they didn’t go too. ‘Trade union’ representatives have already rung and promised to fine me. They called it ‘violation of safety regulations (I work at the factory)’, woman, the resident of one of uncontrolled cities reported about it to Informator.media correspondent.
