On May 11 the ‘Republic Day’ took part in uncontrolled to Ukraine Donetsk. Donetsk dwellers made posts in social media about how really ‘solemnity’ was in the city, except optimistic and bright reports from pro-Russian websites about this ‘positive’ holiday.
In particular, Donetsk residents report that there was only one way enter on the territory of ‘Olympic’ sports complex. According to words of locals, the security got from their leads clear instructions: ‘to provide masses on the event’ and ‘nobody to let out’.
Donetsk dwellers report that in time of concert, on which Russian artists Jango and Aleksander Marshal performed, some spectators wanted to leave arena, when ‘DPR’ chieftaimn Zakharchenko began his speech, but security didn’t allow to do it.
Donetsk residents report that impudent ‘DPR’ fighters and ‘boozers, come inside to warm after drinking’ were the main audience, visited concert at will.
Also it’s reported that Donetsk dwellers harshly negatively perceived the next ‘holiday fireworks’, which was made by ‘local authorities’ in honour of ‘Republic Day’. For example, people are puzzled, where did ‘republic’ get money on the fireworks and allude to wage debts, thanking to9 them, maybe, salute was made.
Donetsk residents write in social media that fireworks frightened them, a number of people apprehended it as the beginning of a regular shelling.
‘I took my kid and wanted to run, then I remembered that they really celebrate there. It’s like nightmare, somebody has a war and somebody cries because of fear’.
‘Dorks, maybe there’re not enough shots for them’.
‘Nobody an order for them. It’s like Feast in Time of Plague’.
Wherein, people didn’t like fireworks. According to their messages, it was ‘ugly and not bright. They could invent something more better, if they think it’s a big holiday’.
Earlier it was reported that Donetsk, Horlovka, Makeevka and Yenakievo inhabitants (NGCA of Donbass – ed.) write in the web that ‘parade’ and a ‘festive concert’ participants were brought to Donetsk on an orderly basis.
